Coffee Machine Installation Requirements
To ensure your coffee machine can be installed safely and successfully, the site must be fully prepared before our engineer arrives.
Please check the machine's individual specification sheet
Please check the machine's individual specification sheet before arranging any electrical, plumbing or joinery work. Requirements vary between machines, particularly for power, water, waste, ventilation and counter cut-outs.
Before booking your installation
You are responsible for ensuring that the following are ready on the agreed installation date.
Installation requirements
Access
Step-free access is required from the delivery point to the final position. Check doorways, corridors, lifts and routes carefully before ordering.
Counter & Position
The counter must be level, strong and complete with any required cut-outs. Ensure there is enough space for the machine, fridge, filter and servicing.
Power Supply
Requirements vary by machine, including 13 amp, single-phase or three-phase supplies. The correct supply must be installed, live and tested on the installation date.
Water Supply
A potable mains water supply with the correct pressure, pipe size and fitting is essential. An accessible isolation valve is also required.
Water Filtration
A suitable water filter is strongly recommended or may be required to protect the machine and achieve the best possible coffee quality.
Waste & Drainage
A suitable trapped waste connection must be installed before the engineer arrives. The drain must be accessible and have a continuous fall.
Ventilation
Some accessories require ventilation, such as fridges. Ensure any required grilles are installed and are not obstructed.
